Volunteers are needed to help with a pilot schools project to encourage the love of reading.
National charity The Book Trust is setting up a new summer holiday scheme in the Bradford area to grab the imagination of young people moving up from primary to secondary school.
About eight schools across the district will be involved, and helpers are needed to help run activities and introduce young people to the world of books.
Project co-ordinator Simon Richards said schools taking part will identify 11-year-olds who are not at their expected reading level, and those youngsters will be invited to join the project.
Volunteers will get training and expenses for travel. Visit booktrust.org.uk to find out more.
