Airedale Hospital is urging more patients to get involved in research.
Information stands on Monday – International Clinical Trials Day – will outline how people can take part. And members of the research team at Airedale will be on hand to explain the opportunities available. Currently 136 clinical trials are running at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust covering issues ranging from cancer and stroke to orthopaedics and gynaecology.
Carole Paley, (pictured) head of research at the trust, said: “We want patients to have the information and confidence to ask about taking part in projects that interest them if they want to.”
