Up to 120 budding models will strut their stuff on the Kirkgate Centre catwalk in Bradford on Sunday.
The finalists have reached the last stage of the 12th Bradford Modelsearch competition.
The contest is being run in conjunction with the Telegraph & Argus, the Kirkgate Centre in Bradford and DK Model Agency.
Hopefuls had taken to the catwalk in front of five judges and hundreds of onlookers in the city centre shopping venue earlier this month.
The finalists will now return for Sunday’s big event, which takes place at the Kirkgate Centre, and which will result in the winners being announced.
This year’s audience for the final heats was the biggest in the event’s history, according to manager of the Kirkgate Centre Catherine Riley, who was on the judging panel.
She had said: “It was mega busy and I don’t think I have ever seen this many people down here for the younger age groups.
“It is just growing in popularity more and more, which gives us even more reason to hold it.
“A lot of people from this area who have been through Modelsearch are now working as models and are getting work in catalogues and on television.”
The four categories are four to six, seven to ten, 11 to 15 and 16 plus, with no upper age limit.
The finalists were put to the public vote in the T&A Readers’ Choice category and photographs were published in a supplement in the T&A on Friday, May 10.
Shopping vouchers for £500 will be divided between a male and female winner from each of the four age categories. And DK Models will potentially choose one male and one female from all the finalists to go on their books.
