A colourful carnival-style parade will mark the end of Councillor Dale Smith’s year as Lord Mayor of Bradford.
A samba band, African drumming and street theatre will entertain crowds in Bradford city centre on Saturday.
More than 1,000 people - many of them schoolchildren - will parade in brightly coloured costumes.
The parade will start from Norfolk Gardens in City Park at 12.30pm, wind its way through Tyrell Street and Sunbridge Road, and finish back at City Park at 2pm.
The departing Lord Mayor will be joining the parade at New Market Place after a service at the Cathedral to mark the end of his civic year.
