A Muslim group aims to raise £100,000 during the holy month of Ramadan to go towards the building of a new mosque.

The Ghosiyah Association has been developing the mosque in Skipton Road, Keighley, since 2010.

Worshippers now use a smaller building on the same site between Skipton Road and Cark Road. Before this was finished in 2007 they had to use portable buildings.

This year’s Ramadan is due to begin on July 9.

The new mosque building is about three-quarters complete with its windows now being installed.
