Allotment-holders are being invited to attend a consultation event being held by an environmental charity, aimed at bringing allotment support services into the 21st century.
Bradford Community Environment Project (BCEP) has been awarded funds from the Social Investment Business Group to conduct a study.
Representatives are actively consulting with allotment associations, site representatives and other present or prospective plot-holders to look at different options.
Councillor Hawarun Hussain (Green, Shipley) said: “This offers a great opportunity for Bradford-ians to consider possible options for the future of allotment services, and would enable us to make informed decisions.”
BCEP’s event is on Saturday from 1.30pm to 4pm at Carlisle Business Centre, Carlisle Road, Bradford. To book a place, contact BCEP on (01274) 223236, or e-mail info@bcep.org.uk.
