Pupils from Ilkley’s Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School visited Ilkley Moor as part of their creative curriculum, the theme of which is Ilkley as a tourist destination.
The outing for Year Five pupils was also linked to their literacy work as they visited the Stanza Stones, and used local artist Lucia Smith and poet and playwright Simon Armitage as their inspiration to write poetry and draw pictures. They also did pond dipping with the Friends of Ilkley Moor.
