Try your hand at sailing
Would be sailors and windsurfers are being invited to push the boat out with an event at Yeadon Tarn this weekend.
The Yeadon Sailing Club open day, on Saturday, is one of a number taking place across the country under the auspices of the Royal Yachting Association.
Hundreds of people are expected to take part in have-a-go sessions and family fun events at clubs up and down the country. All safety equipment will be provided by the participating clubs.
“The Push The Boat Out events will be great for the area,” said Liz Wrigglesworth, RYA Sailing Development Officer for the Yorkshire and Humber Region.
