Bradford Army cadet Benjamin Dickerson, of Allerton, has been chosen as top rank out of 47 senior cadets across the country after passing one of the Army Cadet Force’s most challenging courses. He was put through his paces in an exhausting week-long trial of tests and exercises to become a 4-star cadet – the second highest level of attainment.
Benjamin, 17, passed the course with flying colours then took top honours winning the coveted ‘Top Student’ award, scoring higher than all of the other 46 cadets.
Fellow cadet Gabbie Snowden, 17, of Skipton, also successfully passed the course. To find out more about joining the Army Cadet Force or becoming an adult volunteer call (01904) 490529.
