A man who carried out a robbery at a Bradford gold shop owned by TV antiques dealer Tim Hogarth, has admitted committing a similar offence.
Richard Fearn, 33, of Ivy Bank, Wyke, Bradford, was due to be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court yesterday after pleading guilty to robbery and having an imitation firearm with intent to commit robbery.
The court had previously heard that Fearn went into the Cash for Gold shop in James Street, Bradford city centre, at lunchtime on November 7 last year, and robbed shop manager Amanda Ryan of £2,100. He had with him a silver tube in a plastic bag, intended to look like a firearm.
The court heard yesterday that Fearn had admitted a similar robbery on a woman employee, on December 7 last year.
Judge Jonathan Rose adjourned the hearing for the prosecution to consider the appropriate case for sentencing. He remanded Fearn in custody.
