Yorkshire-based train operator East Coast is to run extra services to take Bradford City fans to London as the Bantams make a second bid this year for Wembley glory on Saturday.
The Bantams take on Northampton Town in the League Two promotion play-off final on Saturday and East Coast is providing return services from Bradford to take fans to London.
East Coast’s extra service starts from Bradford Forster Square station at 7.51am, calling to pick up only at Shipley at 7.57am, Leeds at 8.45am and Wakefield Westgate at 8.57am, then non-stop to London King’s Cross, arriving at 11.23am.
An extra northbound service will also bring fans home, starting from London King’s Cross at 7.03pm, setting down only at Wakefield Westgate at 9pm, Leeds at 9.20pm and Shipley at 9.43pm, before arriving at Bradford Forster Square at 9.54pm.
Tickets for the additional services are on sale now, with lowest priced fares available online at eastcoast.co.uk.
East Coast spokesman John Gelson said: “East Coast’s extra services will be the quickest and easiest way for supporters to travel directly from Bradford city centre to the heart of London.
“We expect the direct trains to and from Bradford to sell out quickly, and advise supporters to reserve seats on the special trains now.”
