Schoolchildren are being invited to turn their ideas into products in a competition which aims to make manufacturing exciting.
Stuart Andrew (right), the MP for Pudsey, is launching the 2013 We Made It! Competition in his constituency. The competition invites 11 to 14-year-olds to submit their design for a product, gadget, gizmo, toy or tool they would like to see made into a prototype.
He is also inviting local businesses to help judge the entries to choose the pupil who will represent the constituency nationally. The best entries nationwide will be given the chance to make their ideas a reality. Go to wemadeituk.co.uk for details.
