About 70 youngsters at two Bradford primary schools have been entertaining European delegates with a breathtaking water spectacular at the city centre’s Mirror Pool.
Children at St James Church Primary School in Allerton and Crossley Hall Primary School in Fairweather Green put on a drama and dance performance with fountains and music as a backdrop last night for delegates at the FloodResilienCity event being held in the city.
The half-hour event, called Blue Mirror, was directed by Steve Bottoms, Professor of Contemporary Theatre and Performance at the University of Manchester – the choreographer was Lucy Hind, who worked on the opening event for the London Paralympics last year.
