A grandma who is standing up to nuisance quad-bikers on a Bradford estate claims her husband could have been killed after a brick was thrown through her front room window.
Elaine Booth said her home in Broadstone Way, Holme Wood, was targeted at 3am yesterday.
The shocked 52-year-old said the brick was thrown with such force that it hit a wall at the back of her living room and smashed a vase and an ornament.
She added that her husband Chris, who was awake keeping watch because of previous attacks against the couple’s cars, had momentarily left the room.
She said: “We are sick of it, but they are just making us stronger. They are absolutely pathetic.”
Inspector Andy Addy said: “I have no doubt this was a targeted attack and follows a number of recent incidents at the address.”
