A takeaway which uses the basements of two nearby properties to bake and store food has landed in hot water with planners.
The Lahore takeaway, at 348 Great Horton Road, is part of a terrace with shared access to basements at number 350, a hairdresser, and number 352, a vacant shop.
It has been using these basements to store food and bake cakes and puddings.
But an application to use these basements for food preparation was refused in November 2010.
An enforcement notice was issued by Bradford Council in April 2011. An appeal against this notice was dismissed in November 2011.
Now a retrospective application has gone in, seeking permission to use the basements for an industrial bakery and storage and distribution area.
The application will be discussed at the Bradford Area Planning Panel on Thursday at 9.45am at City Hall.
