The increasing popularity in cycling is prompting more people to resort to pedal power.
According to Francine Hoddy, head of Bradford-based cycling training company Safe 2 Cycle, numbers joining the Wibsey Park Wheelers are increasing weekly.
The free ‘pedal in the park’ sessions are held in Wibsey Park, Beacon Road, Bradford, from 6.15pm to 8.15pm on Wednesdays.
Run by Safe 2 Cycle the sessions are open to people over 16 and bikes and helmets are provided. For details, e-mail safe2cycle@aol.com or call 07966 024884.
