St Andrew’s CE Primary School and Nursery is a good school in all areas, say Ofsted inspectors.
They believe the school, off West Lane, in Keighley, has improved at a good rate since its previous inspection in 2011.
The inspectors said the school provided all pupils with a good quality education which they really enjoyed. They said children joined the school at an exceptionally low starting point but went on to achieve well.
Many exceeded the nationally-expected levels of attainment by the age of 11 in English and mathematics.
Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage also made excellent progress in developing speaking, reading and writing skills.
The inspectors, who visited St Andrew’s for two days in March, said that some teaching was outstanding, and behaviour was good.
Leaders, managers and governors worked effectively together to improve the school.
