To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Indian cinema, the National Media Museum is putting on a free family festival for the May half-term break.
Visitors can find out what it takes to make a Bollywood movie with an interactive show, help build a giant Indian cinema poster with Lego, watch stories come to life with Indian Folk Tale Shadow Puppets and learn to dance like a Bollywood superstar.
An exhibition of vintage Indian cinema posters, charting the history of Bollywood icons and family dynasties, is on at the museum until June 16.
Rachel Preston, explainer- developer at the museum, said: “Indian cinema history is an important part of culture in Bradford. The Indian Cinema Family Festival gives visitors chance to explore this history and have fun learning about Bollywood.”
