Opponents of two large developments in Menston are continuing their campaign by contesting drainage plans – despite the approval by Bradford Council last month.
Solicitors Schofield Sweeney, acting on behalf of Menston Action Group, Menston Parish Council and Menston Community Association, have written to Bradford Council to register objections to Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire’s request to vary a planning condition relating to drainage on the site for 135 houses on Bingley Road.
They have also asked for the application to be referred to the Council’s Regulatory and Appeals Committee, which has approved outline permission for the Bingley Road development and full planning permission for 173 houses off Derry Hill.
MAG is encouraging residents to respond to Bradford Council’s public consultation on the variation of condition plan.
