Bradford Festival Choral Society is offering a ‘marvellous May medley’ next week.
The choir will be singing in Ilkley for the first time, presenting an evening of favourite choral music including works composed from the 16th to the 21st centuries.
The programme includes extracts from Mozart’s Requiem, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Orff’s Carmina Burana, opera choruses and works by Handel, Monteverdi, Tony Hewitt Jones, Will Todd and George Shearing.
Musical director Thomas Leech will provide organ accompaniment. The conductor will be the choir’s regular accompanist, Chris Pulleyn.
