Police are hunting the driver of a van that was driven away from the scene of a crash in Shipley yesterday which left two people injured.
The white van collided with a Peugeot 207 on Otley Road, near its junction with Green Lane, at about 3.40pm.
A man near the scene said one of the vehicles involved was “pretty horrendously smashed up”.
Two people in the car were treated at the scene for minor injuries. One was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for further treatment.
A police spokesman said: “The van appears to have left the scene and enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver.”
The smash caused traffic congestion in the area between Shipley and Charlestown, Baildon.
