Families will be able to search the historic Broughton Hall estate for hidden booty on bank holiday Monday.
The hall hosts a family fun day and treasure hunt in aid of the Friends of Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association.
The event was originally planned for the Easter Bank Holiday, but was postponed when winter weather was forecast over Easter.
Searching for a mysteriously ‘lost’ armoury of artefacts could win visitors a luxury break in one of its holiday cottages, either at Broughton or owner Roger Tempest’s Aldourie Estate on Loch Ness.
Picnics will be welcome and there will be free parking. Entrance is £9 for adults, £7.50 for concessions, and free for children under 12.
The treasure hunt will run from 10am to 4pm and the challenge will last between one and two hours.
