Bradford Bulls have teamed up with Halifax Volkswagen after the car dealership agreed to come on board as sponsors of the Super League club.
The firm, based on Halifax Road, will have a presence at the Provident Stadium on matchdays and display a number of their cars at tomorrow’s home clash with Leeds.
In return, Volkswagen will support Bulls marketing initiatives to increase supporter numbers on matchdays.
The Bulls’ Super League status for 2014 was confirmed by the Rugby Football League yesterday and the club’s chairman Omar Khan believes the partnership with Volkswagen is another positive development.
He said: “Forging professional relationships within the community is vital to the ongoing success of our team, so this sponsorship represents another welcome step forward for the club off the field.
“We are delighted to be working with another local company, Halifax Volkswagen, and believe this collaboration will give both parties a good opportunity to increase their brand profile across the region.”
