An inspiring business leader is needed to help boost the regeneration of a town centre.
Councillors say Shipley town centre partnership needs a local business person to act as its chairman and help rejuvenate the town.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, chairman of the Airedale Partnership, and Councillor David Heseltine, chairman of the Shipley Area Committee, are looking to re-establish the town centre partnership for Shipley, which offers a place for traders and residents to discuss ideas.
The new chairman will work with the town centre manager to set the agenda for the partnership, chair the meetings and be actively involved in helping achieve its aims.
Leaflets will be sent to businesses explaining how people can volunteer or interested people can call Robert Brough on (01535) 618095 or e-mail robert.brough@bradford.gov.uk.
