New environmental patrols are being urged to clampdown on irresponsible dog owners in parts of Otley and Yeadon.
Residents spoke out this week about the problems caused by dog fouling and identified areas which they believe need attention from the new patrols.
A pilot scheme to crack down on dog fouling and littering, which will see £75 fixed penalty notices issued, was launched in Airebor-ough and Wharfedale last week.
The six-month trial will run in parts of Leeds, including Otley, Bramhope Pool-in-Wharfedale, Horsforth, Guiseley, Rawdon and Yeadon.
