Up to 2,000 people are expected to attend a Christian service in Bradford City Park on Sunday, May 19, at 3pm.
One of the organisers, Canon Robin Gamble, said: “The idea came about because the Telegraph & Argus keep running articles encouraging the community to make creative use of the City Park and Mirror Pool.
“Bradford may be the only city in which there’s no Christian presence right in the city centre. This will be a joyful Christian gathering right in the heart of Bradford. We’re expecting a couple of thousand people and we’ll use the Mirror Pool for the renewal of baptisms.”
