Community and voluntary groups and organisations in Bradford are set to benefit from a new partnership.
Brathay Trust has joined forces with the National Citizen Service (NCS) and the Football League Trust to supply organisations with young volunteers.
The volunteers, under the supervision of Bradford-based Brathay’s team of youth workers, will offer a minimum of 40 hours of support to needy organisations in the district.
The project is looking for year 11 and 12 pupils to take part and engage positively in their communities, learn new skills and take on new challenges.
The project will include the youngsters being whisked off to the Lake District for a week of physical and creative challenges.
For information, email john.hesketh@brathay.org. uk or ring 0844 225 3100 and ask for the NCS Bradford team.
