Staff and residents at an Eastburn care home staged a party in honour of a woman celebrating her 100th birthday.
Edna Rowlands, who lives at Croft House Care Home, enjoyed the “good old-fashioned knees up”.
She was born in South Milford in 1913 and has lived through two world wars, serving as a member of the Women’s Air Force during the Second World War.
She was joined by friends and members of her family to help celebrate the special day and was thrilled to receive her birthday message from The Queen.
