Hipperholme Grammar student Katie Ormerod is on course to qualify for the 2014 Winter Olympics following a series of successful snowboarding competitions. The 15-year-old, of Brighouse, has finished the season 25th in the world rankings and has three World Cups to compete in before the Winter Games.
