More than 200 schoolchildren have flown hand-made kites to demonstrate their support for a campaign to end hunger.
Pupils from eight schools in Otley, Pool-in-Wharfedale and Bramhope assembled at Wharfemeadows Park for the event, part of Oxfam’s Flying the Kite for Food project.
All of the kites were made by the children, who covered them with messages urging action to tackle poverty and support for the Enough Food For Everyone IF campaign.
