Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, near Skipton, will return to its days as a 1950s branch line over the bank holiday weekend.
Train enthusiasts from near and far are expected at the line between Saturday and Monday to see passenger, goods and parcels trains in action, hauled by heritage steam and diesel locomotives.
Trains will run every 30 minutes, from 10am to 4pm. The main services are hauled by four steam locomotives and two heritage British Railway diesel locomotives, with one of the most intense services ever seen on the railway.
The event will also see the debut of the newly-arrived Lancashire and Yorkshire railway tender engine 1300.
Tickets and more information are available at embsayboltonabbeyrailway.org.uk.
