A specialist police team were called to the Inland Revenue building on Victoria Street in Shipley this morning after staff there found a suspicious white powder.
Shortly after 7am, West Yorkshire Ambulance service attended the building along with a hazardous materials team. The building was evacuated while the substance, which had been discovered in a banking unit in the building, was examined.
It was found to be non-hazardous, and the building deemed safe.
