People with a head for heights are asked to take part in a charity abseil.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Dale Smith, is looking for volunteers to descend the Jury’s Inn in Thornton Road on Saturday May 4, even though the vertigo-sufferer will not be taking part.
It’s the tenth year of the stunt, and this year proceeds will go towards Missing People, which helps the families of 250,000 people who run away or go missing every year.
Already staff from several of the city’s hotels and restaurants have signed up, along with a team dubbed the ‘Dare Devil Divas’ from Bradford Council's regeneration and culture department and a group of Sea Cadets from TSS Aurora.
Coun Smith said he had admiration for all taking part.
