A Bradford primary school has held a fun day to celebrate its Ofsted report.
Poplars Farm Primary School, in Poplars Park Road, is now rated good, an improvement from its previous rating of satisfactory in 2011.
Inspectors praised events held to celebrate pupils’ own cultures and teach them about diversity. They said at one event, two parents had cooked an Arabic breakfast for more than 100 families.
Inspectors said: “It was so successful in bringing the school community together that a ‘continental breakfast’ is already planned to continue to promote cultural understanding.”
Head teacher Christine Moran, in post since January, said she was delighted with the report.
