Police are investigating the circumstances of the death of a man who was found hanged from a tree in a Bradford park.
Officers were alerted early on Saturday after the grim discovery was made by a man walking through Wibsey Park.
The scene, close to a dam, not far from Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College, was sealed off for police investigations for most of the morning.
Police are treating it as an “unexplained” death, though there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances at this stage.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 5:30am on Saturday to reports of a man found hanged in the park close to Reevy Avenue in Bradford.
“Investigations are ongoing as to the circumstances.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
