Age UK Bradford & District received a cash boost of £1,000.
Staff and volunteers from the charity’s Wyke shop were invited to South Bradford Golf Club to receive the donation from Sandra Smith, president of the club for 2012.
Yvonne Waddington, shop manager, and Betty Cadman, one of the volunteers received the cheque.
The cash was raised at a charity day golf tournament followed by a charity auction. The club also held raffles all year.
Keith Nathan, chief executive of Age UK, said: “Age UK is very grateful for this significant gift in support of our work.”
