Musicians from the Bradford district are being invited to get involved in the ‘Big Gig’.
Communities minister Don Foster announced 250 free ‘Big Gig’ concerts will go ahead this summer across England, featuring the best of local musical talent.
The concerts are being organised by the Superact arts organisation, with the Department for Commun-ities and Local Government as the main sponsor and funding from Arts Council England and the National Lottery.
Last year 12 events were held in Yorkshire and the Humber and organisers are hoping for a minimum of 25 in the region this year, from July 11 to 14. Visit superact.org.uk/ourbiggig to find out more.
