A new bus layby has been built at a busy junction in Pudsey after a battle by councillors and residents.
Couns Mick Coulson, Richard Lewis and Josie Jarosz (Labour, Pudsey) worked with Leeds City Council highways and transportation department to get a new bus layby built on Lidget Hill in central Pudsey after complaints about congestion.
The street used to get blocked by buses stopping by the shopping parade because there was no room for traffic to pass.
