A possible war memorial in memory of people whose names were collated by a Pudsey man has received a timely financial boost.
Bramley History Society has presented a cheque for £600 which will go towards a memorial in Bramley.
Brian Crowther managed to put together a list of more than 200 names with the help of the society’s archivist Marion North.
Brenda Lees, secretary of the society, said about £80,000 was needed.
