The Hallé returns to Bradford riding the crest of a wave of success after recently winning Recording of the Year and Choral Award at the 2013 BBC Music Magazine Awards for their live recording of Elgar’s The Apostles conducted by Music Director Sir Mark Elder and featuring the Hallé Choir and Youth Choir.
Tonight’ concert, conducted by Andrew Manze, features the overture and excerpts from the ballet score of Beethoven’s Prometheus and Sibelius’s Third Symphony.
