The New Community Arts Academy is continuing a tradition of children’s drama classes at the New Bradford Playhouse.
Artistic director Russ Whittingham says that while the ethos of the academy remains an inclusive one, the classes will be aimed at challenging individual ability.
“We would like to see a really family friendly vibe in Little Germany, breathing new energy into it,” says Russ.
Alongside performing arts classes there will be a casting agency and classes in sound and lighting, and a stage management is planned.
The initiative is to be launched with a showcase performance at the Little Germany venue on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15.
