A missing Bradford woman, who sparked a search of fields, gardens and garages by her neighbours, has been found.

Police appealed for help in finding Lorenza Ullah who had not been seen since she left home shortly before 8am on Tuesday.

Last night she returned to her home on The Avenue, Clayton. A neighbour said: “She has just walked through the door.”

Police confirmed that Miss Ullah returned home yesterday evening.

Police and neighbours had scoured the area for clues after Miss Ullah went missing. A neighbour, who did not want to be named, said a team of police officers was at the family home on Tuesday night and searching the local area.

Residents also joined the search, which included The Delph, with dogs.

It is thought the 28-year-old was catching a bus to Bradford or Leeds, but she was reported missing at 10.45am the same day.

The neighbour said she thought the woman lived with her parents and grandmother. “They’re a really quiet family. I just know she gets on the bus every morning and every night.”

On Tuesday evening police were in neighbours’ gardens and told residents a woman had gone missing.

“It was really dramatic seeing that so close, especially when she had only been missing since that morning,” said the neighbour.
