A development of two houses on the site of the former Wesleyan Chapel in Denholme can go ahead following approval by Bradford Council.
Darren Ingham had been given permission for the scheme, on Valley Heights, in 2009, but the application lapsed, meaning he had to re-apply.
Several neighbours objected, but Bradford Council officers said there was very little different in the latest application to the one approved in 2009.
The development will include access to a graveyard on the site after villagers had raised concerns about visiting the graves once the area was developed.
