Two men have been arrested on drugs charges after police stopped a car in Manningham, Bradford, in a pre-planned operation.
Officers in the Bradford Quartz drugs team stopped the Ford Puma.
The 30-year-old driver and 25-year-old passenger were detained after a pursuit on foot on Monday evening. More than 40 wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin were seized, police said yesterday.
The older man was detained on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply, theft of a vehicle, obstructing police, careless driving and having no insurance. He was also wanted by the Metropolitan Police for an alleged offence of wounding with intent.
His passenger was held on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent, and theft of a vehicle. They were bailed pending further inquiries.
