Airedale Hospital has won an accolade for protecting water supplies for its staff, patients and the local community.
Airedale picked up the Safe Water Award at the Yorkshire Water ‘Taking Responsibility for Business Awards’.
The hospital’s successful entry for the water award was prepared by project officer Paul King.
Kevin Barefoot, business services manager at Yorkshire Water, said: “This recognises businesses that have made the greatest contribution towards protecting water supplies and preventing cross contamination.
“Airedale NHS Foundation Trust’s pro-active approach, action to identify and manage risks, and willingness to work with us embodied what we were looking for in the Safe Water category.”
