Incommunities’ staff raised £410 for the Lord Mayor of Bradford’s Sprinkle Sunshine Appeal following its employee recognition awards.
Nearly £300 was collected with a prize raffle for the Lord Mayor Councillor Dale Smith’s appeal. Another £121 was raised in collections at the housing group’s local offices.
The first female boxing Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams was a special guest at the awards celebrating staff excellence. Geraldine Howley, Incommunities chief executive, said: “Our annual staff awards proved a great success as they coincided with our tenth year in business.
“Nicola was a terrific guest of honour and sprinkled her own ray of sunshine to help staff and board members raise this fundraising sum.”
