A group that campaigns for improvements on the rail route between Bradford and the Aire Valley is to hold its annual meeting.
Since it was set up, the Aire Valley Rail Users Group has called for more seating on trains, station improvements, better car parking, increased trains at each end of the day and better weekend services.
A lively debate is expected at the annual meeting, which will take place at 2pm on Saturday at Saltaire Methodist Church, on the corner of Saltaire Road and George Street. All are welcome.
The annual meeting will be followed by a talk by Richard Morris, chairman of the Friends of the Settle to Carlisle line.
Mr Morris will discuss possible future developments of the train service and how action is needed to manage the ever-increasing demand.
