The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Dale Smith
The Lord Mayor of Bradford will fight for attention with dragons, tigers and tortoises when he judges a competition for school children to celebrate the launch of a Chinese furniture showroom in Greengates on Saturday.
Children from Thorpe Primary in Idle and Parkland Primary in Greengates will draw animals important in Chinese culture and Coun Dale Smith will pick a winner and award prizes, as well as officially declare the new Shimu showroom open at 3.30pm.
Shimu has relocated from Saltaire to new, larger premises at Albion Mills
