Traffic calming work along a Bradford road looks set to go ahead after only a handful of residents objected.
Speed humps, a narrowed carriageway and a new zebra crossing are planned for Rhodesway. There will also be 30-minute waiting restrictions at new parking laybys.
The changes are planned to make the road safer outside the new Dixons Allerton Academy site, set to open in September. Bradford West Area Committee agreed to advertise the proposed changes in November, and about 270 residents were written to. Three people wrote back with objections In a report, officers said the positions of bus stops would be revised but said other objections could be overruled. Officers have recommended that Bradford West Area Committee overrule the objections and implement traffic calming.
