A college meant business when it invited 100 industry experts to lead Dragon’s Den and The Apprentice style competitions for students.
The staff, from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), were at Immanuel College, in Thackley, for the third year to help prepare pupils for the world of work.
They worked closely with college staff to organise activities for 247 students. Students baked buns and made friendship bracelets to sell, took part in a football competition, did team building sessions and learnt presentation and interview techniques.
A PwC spokesman said: “Working with Immanuel College gives us a great opportunity to work with young people and help them make informed life choices.”
Head teacher of the Idle college Jane Tiller said: “We are so lucky to have such strong links with PwC.
“The day will give our students the opportunity to develop new skills that will equip them for their future careers.”
